IAC SOFTBALL: NEWARK VALLEY EARNS FIVE IAC ALL-STAR SELECTIONS (2025-06-16)
Tioga County Sports Report
NEWARK VALLEY - Cardinals' softball racked up five total selections to this year's IAC South Small School all-stars, with one first team selection and four Newark Valley athletes being named to the second team.
Newark Valley sophomore pitcher, Abby DeBolt has been selected to the IAC South Small School first team. DeBolt tallied 100 strikeouts in her first season as a varsity pitcher.
Earning second team selections for the Cardinals are Lilly Cornell, Hattie Sue Hines, Haven Aylesworth, and Kaitlyn Keith. Keith, an eighth grader was an IAC all-star selection last season as well.
Newark Valley softball finished the 2025 season 5-10, but will have multiple underclassmen returning next year, including four out of the five IAC all-star selections.
