NYS TRACK & FIELD: OWEGO'S CHRYSLER RUNS IN 1500-METER FINAL AT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TO FINISH UP 2025 SEASON (June 14, 2025)

MIDDLETOWN - Owego's Jaelyn Chrysler put the finishing touches on a tremendous 2025 outdoor track and field season, competing on the final day of the NYSPHSAA Championships at Middletown High School.
Chrysler entered the weekend having qualified to run in not one, but two different events at the State Championships Meet.
On Friday, OFA's Chrysler ran the girls' 3000-meters, clocking 11:06.90 and earning a ninth place finish in her heat.
On Saturday, the River Hawks' standout distance runner competed in the 1500-meter run. Chrysler earned her way to the 1500 final by winning the event for Class B at the Section IV State Qualifier.
In today's final, Chrysler finished with a time of 5:05.97.
During the 2025 outdoor track and field season, Jaelyn Chrysler was a double winner at the Section IV Class A/B Championships, winning both the 1500 and 3000-meters for Class B, as well as earning her first trip to the NYSPHSAA Outdoor Championships.
