Tioga County Sports Report
The final week of the spring sports season takes place, as OFA track and field, as well as girls' lacrosse are aiming for championships, while Candor has a pair of athletes in track and golf postseason action.

Below is a look at this week's schedule of notable events:

MONDAY
- Candor's Noah Banks will compete in round two of the two-day New York State Boy's Golf Championships held at Mill Creek Golf Club in Churchville, NY. Banks carded a 91 on day one of the event.

FRIDAY
- OFA girls' lacrosse will play for a birth in the Class C State Championship, traveling to SUNY Cortland for a semifinal showdown with Queensbury out of Section II.

- Day one of the NYSPHSAA Track & Field Championships gets underway in Middletown, NY. Owego will be led by Jaelyn Chrysler in the 1500 and 3000-meter events. Gavin Heath and Stella Palladino will also hit the track for OFA, while Candor's Lindsey Morse is competing in the girls' 100m hurdles.

SATURDAY
- NYSPHSAA Track & Field Championships continue with day two of action taking place in Middletown, NY.
