Candor's Noah Banks is competing in the first round of the NYSPHSAA Boys' Golf Championships at Mill Creek Golf Club, while the Owego flag football team travels to Cortland High School with hopes of coming home with a Class C state title.

FLAG FOOTBALL
OFA vs Pioneer
(Class C State Championship)
Owego took care of business yesterday, defeating Beekmantown, 38-33 to advance to this afternoon's state title game. The River Hawks draw Pioneer out of Section VI today. Pioneer edged out Plainedge in their semifinal game, 7-0. The NYSPHSAA Class C State Championship is being held at Cortland High School at 1:15 p.m.

NYSPHSAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
Mill Creek Golf Club
Candor's Noah Bank makes the trip to Churchville, NY this morning to play in the first round of the 2025 Boys' Golf Championships at Mill Creek Golf Club. To qualify to compete today, Banks had to finish in the top nine at the Section IV Medalist Tournament. This will be Banks first trip to states. Banks' first round tee time is scheduled for 10:52 a.m.
