Tioga County track and field athletes head to state qualifiers this week at Union-Endicott, while Owego Athletics has a big weekend ahead with the flag football team going for a State Championship bid and girls' lacrosse hoping to continue the momentum from their sectional title win.

Below is a look at this week's schedule of notable events:

WEDNESDAY
- Tioga County track & field athletes head to Union-Endicott High School this week for an opportunity to qualify for the State Championships.

THURSDAY
- Track & Field State Qualifiers continue at Union-Endicott High School for OFA, Newark Valley, S-VE, and Candor.

SATURDAY
- Owego flag football faces off with Beekmantown out of Section VII in the NYSPHSAA Class C Semifinals at Homer High School.

- OFA girls' lacrosse will aim for a birth in the Class C State Semis, when they play New Paltz from Section IX at Chenango Valley High School.
