Owego flag football looks to capture their second consecutive Section IV title today when they play Susquehanna Valley at Union-Endicott High School, while Candor's Noah Banks and Tyler Greeno compete at the Medalist Tournament in Elmira for a chance to qualify for states in boys' golf.

The River Hawks compete this afternoon in the Section IV Class C Sectional Championship against Susquehanna Valley at 2 p.m. In the first round of the tournament, Owego defeated Windsor, 46-0, followed by a semifinal victory over Norwich, 52-6. OFA and Susquehanna Valley met earlier this year, with the River Hawks coming out on top, 38-6. Today's championship game takes place at Union-Endicott High School.

Candor boys' golf will send Noah Banks and Tyler Greeno to Elmira today, where they will compete in the Medalist Tournament with hopes of finishing in the top nine for an opportunity to qualify for states. The tournament is held at Mark Twain Golf Course.
