Eagles' baseball and softball both hit the road for the first round of the Section IV Class B baseball tournament, while the IAC Track & Field Championships continue with day two from Newark Valley.

Newark Valley hosts day two of the IAC Championships. Much like the first day of events, day two will test the athletes again as rainy and cold weather is expected throughout.

After yesterday's event was postponed due to inclement weather, SVEC heads to Watkins Glen today for their first round contest of the Section IV Class B Tournament. The Eagles are the nine-seed and face Watkins Glen/O-M. SVEC split their match-ups with the Storm during the regular season, winning the first game 8-3, but dropping the second, 7-6. The winner will advance to play top-seed, Oneonta on Friday.
