IAC BOYS' GOLF: SPENCER-VAN ETTEN TAKES FIFTH IN SMALL SCHOOL DIVISION AT IAC CHAMPIONSHIPS (2025-05-20)

HORSEHEADS - Spencer-Van Etten competed in the IAC Championships for boys' golf today at Soaring Eagles Golf Course, earning a fifth place finish out of eight teams in the small school division, during a sunny but cold and breezy 18-hole round.
The Panthers finished the afternoon with a 403-team total. John Hastings led the way for S-VE, carding a 95 for 12th overall on the small school leaderboard.
Owen Bly broke 100 after 18 holes, shooting a 99 to earn a 15th place finish, while AJ Shoemaker shot 102 for a top-20 finish.
Jayden Stone carded a 107. Stone had the Panthers' lone birdie for the day, chipping in from 54 yards out on the par-4, 14th hole.
Chris Kobre shot a 112 and Donavin Vanderpoel carded a 120 in non-scoring rounds for S-VE.
Candor won the IAC Small School Championship with a 357-team total.
S-VE boys' golf will head to Delhi next week for the sectional tournament.
