BINGHAMTON - Owego regained the momentum they needed to head into the postseason, finishing off their regular season on Monday night with an impressive road win over Seton Catholic, 14-5.
"I couldn't be more proud of this team tonight. It was a total group effort," said coach Ashlee Marsh.
"Everyone stepped up and played for each other to close out an amazing regular season. We have grown so much together, and now it's time to shift gears and get after it in the postseason," added Marsh.
Madison McEvoy and Lexi Herceg led OFA's offense against the Saints. McEvoy found the net four times, while Herceg notched three goals of her own.
Amelia Sherman and Keira Henry had two goals each, while Ashleigh Steele and Mikayla Wilbur both scored once as well.
Wilbur racked up six ground balls on the night. Izzy Herceg totaled three ground balls and Shannon Maslin finished with nine saves in goal.
Owego girls' lacrosse finishes the regular season 12-3, and will now await their seeding and head into postseason play.
