CANDOR - Coyotes girls' golf worked through less than ideal conditions on Wednesday afternoon, carding a 247 team-score to defeat Odessa-Montour in IAC play.

Gwen Shaw lead the way for Candor, carding a 55 for her round, while Emma Veasey shot a 59 for the Coyotes.

Kaedyn Everhart earned a 60 for the match and Emma Fey finished her round with a 73.

Only two golfers recorded scores for Odessa-Montour. Riley Brooks shot a 62 and Brooke Burns scored a 61.

"The conditions were not great to play golf, however, I am proud of how all the girls persevered and put forth their best effort," said coach Jason Banks.
