SECTION IV BOYS' LACROSSE: OFA GETS BACK IN THE WIN COLUMN WITH ROAD VICTORY OVER BINGHAMTON (2025-05-13)

Tioga County Sports Report
BINGHAMTON - OFA boys' lacrosse was on the road for the fourth consecutive game on Tuesday night, traveling to Binghamton and getting back in the win column with a 12-9 victory over the Patriots.

Wyatt Prentiss played an excellent game defensively for the River Hawks, while Aiden Rhodes was top-notch in goal.

OFA spent much of the game playing a man down, but relied on their physicality to make up the difference. The defense made some big stops and forced multiple turnovers.

"Offensively we were able to settle ourselves and work the ball around to find the right shots at the right time," said coach Craig Nevins.

"We were able to cycle everyone on the roster into the game, and everyone who stepped foot out there played with heart and intesity."

Sawyer Prentiss lead OFA offensively with five goals on the night. Atlas Boland found the back of the net three times, while Garrett Phelps also had a hat trick, and Caleb Cole netted a goal as well.

Ryan Barnes helped out with one assist for the game, while racking up seven ground balls in Tuesday's night cap. Cole finished with six ground balls and Wyatt Prentiss picked up five.

Owego will return to their home turf on Friday to face Maine-Endwell.
