STAC BASEBALL: TAYLOR FANS 10, OFA PLATES 13 IN AFTERNOON ROAD WIN OVER SETON CATHOLIC (2025-05-10)

BINGHAMTON - Senior, Conlan Taylor was lights out on the mound Saturday afternoon, allowing just one hit and striking out 10 in five innings of work, while the OFA offense did their part by putting up double digit runs to defeat Seton Catholic, 13-1.
OFA opened up the game with three runs in the first inning. In the third inning, the River Hawks padded their lead with two more to go ahead 5-0.
In the fourth, Connor Kotski grounded out to second base, but scored Elijah Lewis. OFA got another run home in the top part of the fifth, when Matt Higgins scored on a passed ball to make it 7-0.
Seton Catholic earned their only run of the game in the home half of the sixth, but Owego exploded for six runs in the seventh to put the game away.
Kotski, Dylan Brace and Nick Brown each finished with two RBIs a piece. Brace also scored twice in the game, while Elijah Lewis reached home two times as well.
Noah Christ and Parker Jenkins both finished with an RBI and a run scored. Danny Tavelli, Jack Buchsbaum, Tyler Lewis, and Higgins all drove in a run against the Saints.
OFA baseball finishes up the regular season on Tuesday, when they host Ithaca.
