WAVERLY - S-VE girls' golf dropped a tough match-up at home to visiting Lansing on Wednesday at Shepard Hills, falling to the Bobcats, 196-269.

Lauren Gillette paced the Panthers with a 53 for her round. Reece Hickey shot a 65, while Hannah Smith carded a 72 for S-VE. 

S-VE's Delilah Alpert earned a 79 on the day, and Lily Alison shot an 84 in a non-scoring round.

Lansing's Hailey Baughan carded a 41 to take low medalist honors. Baughan made birdie on the par-5, first hole. 

Miley Palmer shot a 43 for the Bobcats in a round that included two birdies, and Farren Snyder carded a 52.

Mya Gray finished with a 60, while Emily Lombardi earned a 70 for Lansing in a non-scoring round.

S-VE girls golf will travel to Vestal on Thursday for their next match.
