CORNING - S-VE girls' golf made the trip to Corning Country Club to start the week, competing with Elmira Notre Dame, Odessa-Montour and Corning-Painted Post, while carding a team score of 245 for their afternoon.

Corning's Delaney Abel carded a 37 to earn medalist honors, and Notre Dame's Evelyn Wheeler shot a 43 to lead her team. Corning-PP recorded a 195 team total, while Notre Dame finished with 225 as a team.

For the Panthers, Lauren Gillette shot a 51. Gillette made par on holes two and five during her round.

Lily Kunzman shot a 60 on the day, which included a par on the par-4, fourth hole. Reece Hickey carded a 64 and Hannah Smith finished with a 70 for the Panthers.

S-VE's Delilah Alpert shot a 72 and Kelci Wright scored a 79 in non-scoring rounds.

The Panthers hit the links again on Wednesday when they host Lansing.
