CANDOR - The Eagles ran into a tough Edison team from Elmira Heights on Monday, falling to the Spartans at home, 16-0 in five innings.

Edison got runs across in every inning during Monday's contest. The Spartans plated four in the first to lead off the game. 

Edison scored two in the second and another in the third inning, before getting six runs home for a big top of the fourth. The Spartans would score three runs in the fifth to finish the game off.

SVEC earned three hits in the game, coming from Faith Brenchley, Ryleigh Bowman and Kaidince Root.

The Eagles will try to get back on the winning track tomorrow, when they host Trumansburg.
