SECTION IV BASEBALL: SVEC GOES DOWN AT HOME TO UNBEATEN DEPOSIT-HANCOCK (2025-04-25)

CANDOR - The Eagles dropped their second game this week, falling to a hard-hitting and undefeated Deposit-Hancock team, 16-3.
Deposit-Hancock proved to be a hitting machine on Friday evening, putting perfectly placed hits in play, inning after inning.
Deposit scored four runs in the first to set the tone for the game, followed by nine in the second and three more runs over the course of the third and fourth innings.
SVEC earner their three runs in the home half of the fifth. James Chrysler reached on a walk. With two outs, Chrysler advanced to second on a passed ball, followed by a Shawn Horyczun walk. With two runners on, Logan Aman doubled to bring in Chrysler. Horyczun would steal home and Kellen Williamson doubled after that to score Aman.
Logan Aman went 2-for-3 on the day with an RBI and a run scored. Williamson also drove in a run, while Zach Lang added a hit.
SVEC goes head to head with Lansing in their next game on April 28th.
