WAVERLY - S-VE's Lauren Gillette recorded a birdie on the fourth hole at Shepard Hills on Wednesday afternoon, but the Panthers fell to the Wolverines, 214-248.

Gillette carded a 48 for her round and was the low medalist, while making a three on the par-4 fourth hole. Gillette also bogeyed holes one, three, six, seven, and eight during the afternoon match.

Reece Hickey shot a 64 and Delilah Alpert scored a 66 for the Panthers. Kelci Wright carded a 70 to round out the scoring portion of S-VE's lineup.

Hannah Smith shot a 74 and Lily Alison had an 82 in non-scoring rounds for the S-VE side.

For the Wolverines, Breanne Robinson went the lowest, carding a 52 and making par on hole two. Waverly's Addison Hunt and Lauryn DeLill both shot 53 for their rounds. Hunt also made par on the par-4 sixth. Sophia Sileo shot a 56 for the Wolverines during Wednesday's contest. 

S-VE girls' golf will be in action again on Thursday at Candor.
