IAC TRACK & FIELD: S-VE BOYS AND GIRLS TEST THEMSELVES IN MULTI-TEAM MEET AT WATKINS GLEN (2025-04-23)

WATKINS GLEN - S-VE track & field traveled yesterday to compete alongside Odessa-Montour, Notre Dame and Watkins Glen, with the Panthers girls' team earning a 32-point team total and the boys scoring 59.
Some notable finishes for the S-VE boys' side were Edward Rixford winning the 3200m with 11:54. Theo Mueller-Steinhardt won the 200m, running 23.70 and also the 100-meter dash in 11.7. Karson Kenville earned victory in the 110m hurdles with 16.40.
Chase Whitmarsh threw 102 in the discus for second place and Kenville finished third overall in the triple jump, going 36-5, 1/4. S-VE's David Rivers earned second in the 400m hurdles with 1:05.60, while Zachary Pauke finished second overall in the 400, clocking 57:20.
The S-VE boys also won the 4x100-meter relay, running 46.10.
For the Spencer-Van Etten girls, Madelyn Ellison placed third overall in the 1500m, running 6:01. Ellison also took second in the high jump with 4-2, while Ashley Ellison ran 1:15.10 in the 400m.
Kaylee Kastenhuber heaved 25-8 in the shot put for S-VE and Aubrey Catablan went 23-4. Kastenhuber threw 98-1 in the girls' discus and Catablan tossed 76-6.
The Panthers will take the track again on April 29th at Tioga.
