Owego's Lewis was instrumental in a series win over Seton Catholic, while Crawford was a force for River Hawks' softball in both the circle and at the plate. They are the Tioga County Sports Report / Guthrie Community Credit Union "Athletes of the Week," for the week ending April 19.

Lewis got it done for OFA at the plate and on the mound in their opening series against Seton Catholic. The senior threw six innings in game one, striking out eight and holding the Saints to just two earned. In back-to-back wins over Seton, Lewis went 4-for-7 in the batter's box, combining for three RBIs and two runs scored as well.

Crawford was a driving force for Owego in a pair of wins last week. In victories over Seton Catholic and Chenango Forks, Crawford combined to go 6-for-8 from the plate, with six RBIs, five runs scored and a homer. In the circle, Crawford threw three innings against Forks without allowing a hit or a run, while striking out six.
