Owego's Prentiss was all over the net in a 24 hour period last week for OFA boys' lacrosse, while DeBolt lead the Cardinals both offensively and on the mound, for a much needed bounce back victory in softball. They are the Tioga County Sports Report / Guthrie Community Credit Union "Athletes of the Week," for the week ending April 12.

Prentiss achieved an impressive milestone, netting his 100th career lacrosse goal during a win last Saturday. Prentiss also racked up nine goals in less than 24 hours, during back-to-back wins over Windsor and Chittenango.

DeBolt hit her first career varsity home run for the Cardinals, while going 2-for-3 from the plate in a 17-5 win over Groton. Debolt also pitched five innings, allowing only one earned run and striking out eight in a much needed victory for Newark Valley, having dropped their previous three games.
