ELMIRA - It was a cold and rainy round at Mark Twain Golf Course on Thursday, where Newark Valley dropped their match to Elmira Notre Dame, 192-230.

Newark Valley's Bradyn Woods was medalist on the day, carding a 46, but Notre Dame had five total golfers break 50.

Isaiah Keith shot a 55 for Newark Valley, while Oliver Ferguson carded a 63. Aaron Smith finished his round with a 66 for the Cardinals.

Isaac Duhnam shot a non-scoring round of 68, while Troy Blomberg recorded a non-scoring 70 for Newark Valley.

For Notre Dame, Jackson Potter shot a 47, with Jacob Steed and Dylan O'Toole each carding a 48. Ethan Wheeler finished with a 49 for the Crusaders.

Newark Valley golf will play their home course on April 15th, when they welcome Whitney Point.
