STAC FLAG FOOTBALL: OFA GOES ON THE ROAD AND TAKES CARE OF BUSINESS WITH WIN OVER CHENANGO VALLEY (2025-04-09)

CHENANGO VALLEY - The River Hawks continue their hot start to the season by going on the road Wednesday night, defeating Chenango Valley, 32-6.
Kylie Grippen was 18-for-22, throwing for 232 yards and five touchdowns. Kayla Newman and Jaelynne Lovell each caught four passes on the night. Newman had 66 yards receiving and two touchdowns, while Lovell finished with 52 yards and a score.
Olivia Dodge caught two passes for 52 yards and scored twice during the game. Eliana Vasquez
carried the ball 10 times for 50 yards.
Defensively the River Hawks were excellent as usual. Kylie Craven had four tackles to go with an interception. Elizabeth Reigle lead Owego in tackles with 10 flags pulled. Dodge was right behind her with seven flags pulled, as well as a pass deflected. Lexi Herceg and Bella Silvestri finished with four tackles each.
OFA flag improves to 5-0 with the win and will head to Norwich next on April 14th.
