VAN ETTEN - Deveon Aman threw a one-hitter on Wednesday afternoon to help move SVEC's win streak to four and take down visiting Elmira Notre Dame, 19-0.
Aman went five innings on the bump, striking out two without giving up a run.
"We had strong pitching from Deveon that kept us in control from the star, and our bats really came alive tonight," said co-coach Tyler Lloyd.
The Eagles plated eight in the bottom half of the second and scored in all of the first four innings.
Logan Aman went 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs. Clayton Bower and Nicholas Oaks both had doubles on the afternoon. Oaks was perfect from the plate, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs. Zach Lang was also a perfect 3-for-3, scoring three times as well.
Kellen Williamson hit 4-for-5 and Cam Sinn chipped in, going 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs. Wyatt Ross scored a run in the game, while Sirron Irvin and Jason Jantz each recorded a pair of hits. Irvin also drove in four runs, Wednesday afternoon.
"It was a full team effort and I am proud of how we are competing on both sides of the ball," Lloyd added.
