A big slate of events fill up Wednesday, with SVEC, Newark Valley and OFA softball at home, while SVE girls' golf and OFA boys' lacrosse open their seasons.
BASEBALL
Moravia at Newark Valley (0-1)
The Cardinals had more hits than their opponent on Monday, but didn't get enough runs across for the win. They will try to get in the win column today when they host Moravia.

Moravia at Newark Valley (1-0)
Newark Valley is coming off a 15-13 nail biting victory on Monday over Dryden. The Cardinals try to make it two in a row when they host Moravia at 4:30.
Susq. Valley at OFA (2-0)
OFA has put up double digits in their first two outings. They will try for another big day on the scoreboard when they welcome SV this afternoon.
BOYS' LACROSSE
OFA at Cortland
TRACK & FIELD
Newark Valley at Dryden
NV boys' and girls' track and field take part in a quad-meet this afternoon with teams, including Dryden, Elmira Heights and Lansing.
FLAG FOOTBALL
Johnson City at OFA (1-0)
The River Hawks' looked in mid-season form in their opener last week, winning 38-6. OFA will try to continue the hot start tonight, hosting Johnson City at 6 p.m.
