Colten Santalucia took the STAC by storm this season, cracking the Top-20 in average as an 8th-grader. He is the 2024-25 All-Tioga County Boys "
Newcomer of the Winter."
Santalucia maintained a 208 average this season, which was 16th in the STAC. He had the third-highest series in the league with a 762. His high game was a 278.
Santalucia rolled series of 662 and 619 at the State Qualifier, after rolling a 619 at the Class C Championships. At States, he rolled series of 655 and 495.

Colten Santalucia, 8th-grader, Waverly bowling: See above.olten Santalucia, 8th-grader, Waverly:
Dominic Palmer, junior, Tioga basketball: Palmer developed into a force in the paint in his first varsity season with the athleticism and timing to block shots, and the physicality to rebound.
He averaged 10.3 points, 10 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, and 1.8 steals per game.
Porter Daddona, junior, Waverly basketball: A force in the low-post with good post moves and a nice touch, Daddona got better as the season progressed. She averaged 11.3 points and 6 rebounds per game. He shot 66 percent from the free-throw line.
Lucas Boccasini, junior, Owego wrestling: Boccasini posted a 22-15 record, with 12 pins and two technical falls.
He won a title at the Campbell-Savona Holiday Tournament, and placed in three other tournaments, before capping his season with a sixth-place finish at the Section IV, Division 2 Championships.
Luukas Carling, junior, S-VE: Carling developed into a force for the Panthers by season's end. He averaged 12 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game.
Austin Green, junior Newark Valley: A threat from behind the 3-point arc, Green averaged 8.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 2.1 deflections, and 1.7 steals per game. He knocked down 35 3-pointers, and shot 33 percent from behind the arc. He averaged 13.4 points over the last nine games of the season.
Griff Walter, freshman, Waverly bowling: Walter, who spent the majority of the season on the JV team, bowled six games on varsity at the end of the season with a 213 average.
Walter rolled five games at the State Qualifier with a 665 series in the morning, including a high game of 245. He rolled five games at States, with a 633 series, including a 226 high game, in the morning sessions.
