Declan McKee reeled off 28 straight wins to end the season on his way to a state title. He is the 2024-25 All-Tioga County "
Wrestler of the Year."

McKee posted a 34-3 record, including 21 pins and eight technical falls, on his way to a Division 2 101-pound state final.
McKee's losses came at the hands of Southwestern's Adrian Torres, who he beat in the state finals, as well as Briarcliff's Vincenzo Mannello, who placed fourth at States in Division 1, and CBA's Brody DiCaprio, who was seventh in Division 1.
McKee won the Windsor Christmas Tournament, beating St. Francis' Tyler Catrabone, who was runner-up in Division 1 this year, the Saratoga Invitational, and the Southern Tier Memorial.
He also won an IAC title, the Section IV Qualifier A, and the Section IV title.
Boccasini posted a 22-15 record, with 12 pins and two technical falls.
He won a title at the Campbell-Savona Holiday Tournament, and placed in three other tournaments, before capping his season with a sixth-place finish at the Section IV, Division 2 Championships.
Escalante posted a 30-12 record, with eight pins and five technical falls. He finished second at the Elisky Tournament, and won an IAC title.
Bradley, who was 14-13 last year, posted a 29-15 record this year, with eight pins, and two technical falls.
Bradley placed third at the Oneonta Rotary Tournament, and second at the STAC Championships.
Witman's Wolverines posted a 12-4 record, and a runner-up finish in the Section IV, Division II Duals.
Wrestling without two starters, state place-finisher Matthias Welles and Dalton Davis, Waverly drop d a 37-30 decision to Unatego-Unadilla Valley in the Duals finals.
The Wolverines finished fourth in the team standings at the Section IV Championships, but advanced five the state tournament, where it claimed a state title with all five wrestlers taking home hardware.

Troy Beeman, junior, Waverly: Beeman posted a 39-4 record, with 22 pins and one technical fall. He won the STAC and Section IV Championships.
The defending state champ, Beeman suffered a controversial, 4-1, loss in the state finals.
Drayton DeKay, freshman, Waverly: DeKay posted a 37-5 record with 22 pins and 12 technical falls.
After finishing second at the STAC Championships, DeKay dropped from 124 pounds to 116, and reeled off nine wins, including a Section IV title win, before losing an overtime decision in the state finals.
Jayden Duncanson, junior, Tioga: Duncanson posted a 42-4 record, including 20 pins and eight technical falls.
He won an IAC title, and a Section IV title, before finishing fourth at States — his fourth state medal.
Trevor Middendorf, senior, Newark Valley: Middenforf registered a 36-6 record, including seven pins and 15 technical falls.
Middendorf won titles at the Larry Goodrich Invitational, the Dave Buck Memorial, and the Haines Memorial Tournament, before claiming an IAC title.
Middendorf was runner-up to eventual two-time state champ Maverick Beckwith of Norwich at the Section IV, Division 2 Championships, then wrestled back to finish third at the New York State Championships, posting a 5-1 record.
Cooper Robinson, junior, Waverly: Robinson posted a 43-7 record, including seven pins and 19 technical falls.
Robinson finished second at the STAC Championships, won the Section IV, Division 2 title, and finished fifth at States, losing to the eventual second- and third-place finishers.
Bobby Struble, senior, Owego: Struble posted a 32-9 record, with 13 pins and three technical falls. He won the Haines Memorial Tournament, and placed second or third in three other tournaments.
After finishing third at the STAC Championships, Struble finished second at the Section IV, Division II Championships, and seventh at the New York State Championships.
All-Tioga County Second Team
Rhylee Stotler, sophomore, Waverly: Stotler forged a 41-9 record, with 29 pins and two technical falls. He won a STAC title, finished second to DeKay at the Section IV Championships, and placed fifth at States, losing to the eventual champ and third-place finisher.
Avery Bowman, freshman, Waverly: Bowman registered a 36-14 record, with 20 pins and five technical falls. He placed third at the STAC Championships, third at the Section IV Championships, and eighth at States.
Dylan Brace, sophomore, Owego: Brace posted a 28-9 record with 12 pins and nine technical falls. He won a title at the North Country Invitational, and placed in the top four at three others. He punched his ticket to States with a third-place finish at the Section IV, Division 2 Championships. He went 0-2 at Statess.
Austin DeBolt, senior, Newark Valley: DeBolt posted a 29-10 record, with 25 pins. He won an IAC title, and was third at the Section IV, Division 2 Championships. He went 2-2 at States.
Collin Monnell, senior, Owego: Monnell posted a 30-12 record, with 16 pins and five technical falls. He won a STAC title, and placed fifth at the Section IV, Division 2 Championships.
Rodney Vaow, junior, SVEC: Vaow was 28-12 on the season, including 15 pins and eight technical falls. He placed third at the IAC Championships, and was sixth at the Section IV, Division 2 Championships.
Logan Bellis, junior, Tioga: Battling a knee injury all season, Bellis posted a 27-12 record. He was second t the IACs, and sixth at the Section IV, Division 2 Championships.

Cadin Creeley, junior, Newark Valley: Creeley posted a 25-8 record, including 15 pins and three technical falls. He won the Haines Memorial Tournament, was in the top four in three others. Creeley placed fourth at the Section IV, Division 2 Championships.

Robert Curley, freshman, Owego: Curley posted a 19-13 record, with 16 pins and one technical fall. He went 2-2 at the Section IV Championships.
Vitaly Sirotkin, freshman, Owego: Sirotkin was 18-15 on the season, with six pins and three technical falls. He placed sixth at the Section IV, Division 2 Championships.
Joey Mack, sophomore, Waverly: Mack was 17-17 on the season, with 12 pins and one technical fall.
John Cornwell, freshman, Owego: Cornwell posted a 15-13 record with 12 pins.
Liamm Comstock, 8th-grader, Tioga: Comstock posted a 10-10, with two pins and one technical fall. He won an IAC title.
