Luukas Carling was named a second-team IAC South Small School Division all-star, and senior
Christopher Merrick earned honorable mention recognition in recent voting by the division's coaches.
Candor's Jakobe Foster was named the divisional MVP.
FIRST TEAMNamed to the first team along with Foster were: Newfield's Malcom Jenkins and Greg Taylor, O-M's Tyler Malnoske, and Tioga's Jackson Bombard.
SECOND TEAM
Luukas Carling, junior, S-VE: Carling developed into a force for the Panthers by season's end. He averaged 12 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game
Also named to the second team were: Candor's Donald Makie and Carson Heidl, Tioga's Dominic Palmer, and Newfield's Zakieus Vaun.
Honorable MentionChristopher Merrick, senior, S-VE: A constant whirlwind of action, Merrick averaged 8.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 0.8 steals per game.
