STAC WRESTLING: OWEGO'S CAM BUNDY EARNS TOP SEED FOR LEAGUE TOURNEY (2019-01-18)

JOHNSON CITY - Cam Bundy has drawn Owego's lone No. 1 seed for today's STAC Wrestling Championships, which has been changed to a one-day event due to the impending winter storm.

Bundy is the top seed at 170 pounds, earning the nod ahead of Chenango Forks standout Jeremiah Allen.

The Indians' Matt Laubach has drawn the third seed at 99.

Avery Middendorf (126), Austin Culver (145) and James Bundy (182) are also seeded to place, each earning the No. 4 spot.

Instead of the usual double-elimination format, preliminary and quarterfinal losers will be eliminated.

The start time has been moved up 30 minutes to 4:30 p.m. The quarterfinals are expected to begin at 6 p.m. and the semis should start at approximately 7:15 p.m. Championship and third-place bouts are expected to get underway at 8 p.m. and end by 9:45 p.m.
