SCHEDULE CHANGE: STAC WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS SHORTENED TO ONE-DAY TOURNAMENT (2019-01-18)

JOHNSON CITY - Due to the impending winter storm, the STAC Wrestling Championships have had to undergo some alterations.

The tournament has been changed to a one-day event being held today.

Instead of a double-elimination format, preliminary and quarterfinal losers will be eliminated.

The start time has been moved up 30 minutes to 4:30 p.m.

The preliminary round will be held on six mats.

The quarterfinals are expected to begin at 6 p.m. and the semis should begin at approximately 7:15 p.m.

Championship and third-place bouts are expected to begin at 8 p.m. and end by 9:45 p.m.
