TIOGA COUNTY - It's a fairly light day with a boys basketball game, wrestling match and two bowling matches on the schedule.

BOWLING
Waverly at Newark Valley, 4 p.m.: The boys match should provide some excitement as both teams are battling near the top of the IAC Large School standings. NV is currently in second place with a 28-16 record while the Wolverines are tied for third with Union Springs / Port Byron at 28-12.

Groton at Candor, 3:45 p.m.: The Candor girls team sits in first place in the IAC Small School division at 33-11 and is holding a 3-point lead over Odessa-Montour. The Groton  boys (34-10) are in second behind Tioga (42-6).

BOYS BASKETBALL
Owego (10-2, 6-2) at Johnson City (8-5, 5-3), 5:30 p.m. JV start: The Indians, ranked 24th in the state in Class B, are coming off a 60-58 come-from-behind victory over Binghamton while JC lost to Bishop Grimes, 69-56. Owego won their previous meeting in mid-December, 69-61.

WRESTLING

BGAH at Owego, 6 p.m.: Both teams are coming off losses in the Section IV Division II Dual Meet Championship. Owego lost to Norwich, 40-33, and BGAH fell to Tioga, 41-30.
