STAC GIRLS BASKETBALL: OWEGO RACKS UP 63-39 WIN OVER BINGHAMTON (2019-01-15)
Tioga County Sports ReportBINGHAMTON - Sixth-ranked Owego rode a 22-3 first-quarter blitz to a 63-39 STAC victory over Binghamton here Tuesday, bumping their unscathed record to 13-0 in the process.
The Indians increased their advantage to 38-8 at halftime and still led by 30 entering the fourth quarter.
Kaci Donovan led the charge with 22 points, going 7-for-8 at the free throw line. Evee Coleman tallied 20 points and Anna Felice contributed 16 more and was 4-for-4 at the line. Shannon Heffernan went 4-for-4 at the stripe.
The Indians went 18-for-26 at the foul line.
Xaneva Thomas led the Patriots (7-6) with 10 points.
Owego hosts Johnson City Friday.
