STAC BOWLING: OWEGO BOYS FALL TO METRO LEADER JOHNSON CITY (2019-01-14)

BINGHAMTON - Qwinten Adams was coming off his first-ever 300 game, which he recorded during the recent Saturday Morning Youth League at Owego Bowl. However, his 228 game and 597 series wouldn't be enough to tame the Wildcats from Johnson City at Laurel Bowl Monday.

STAC Metro boys leader JC, which now has a STAC-high 36 wins (36-9), won the match, 5-0. The Wildcats won the girls match by a 5-0 score also.

BOYS
Gabe Avery contributed a 188-503 to the Indians' effort and Nathan Travis rolled a 171-463. Levi Stanton and Quentin Hollister added 147 games and Cole Dalton had a 137.

Ashton Myers led JC with a 226-618 and Josh Levene had a 245 game.

JC won by scores of 1028-810, 929-853 and 922-747, taking the total pinfall, 2879-2410.

GIRLS
Hayley Classen shot 182-450 and Abby Shirley had a 167-427 to pace Owego. Lillie Carrigan-Bauer rolled a 118 game, Victoria Reigle had a 115 and Summer Elliott had a 104.

Geraldine Molyneaux led JC with a 182-492.

The Wildcats won by scores of 677-611, 723-566 and 627-555, and won the total pinfall, 2027-1732.

JV
Johnson City won the boys match, 5-0, and the girls match, 4-1.

Owego hosts U-E Wednesday at Owego Bowl.
