BINGHAMTON - One day after Binghamton took down Elmira, the Owego boys took a point from the Patriots by winning the third game at Laurel Bowl.
Owego standout Qwinten Adams rolled a season-high 700 series. He started off with a 258, followed up with a 255 and closed out with a 187.
"I was very proud of Qwinten tonight," Owego head coach Chris Schmidt said. "He's been struggling over the last few weeks, but kept grinding and was rewarded by everything coming together tonight."
Cole Dalton contributed a 176-499, Nate Travis rolled a 190-497, Gabe Avery shot a 160-447 and Levi Stanton added a 172-430.
Binghamton was paced by Austin Murray with a 235-696, Alec McNeill with a 235-638 and Tyler McNeill with a 246-631.
Owego won the final game, 873-833. The Patriots won the first game, 969-831, and game two, 1025-869, as well as the total pinfall, 2827-2573.
The Indians are next in action when they return to Laurel Monday to face division-leading Johnson City.
