OWEGO - Owego may not be big in numbers, but was large in competitive spirit in a 94-63 season-opening loss to Windsor here Monday.

The Indians boasted a pair of triple winners in Noah Bingley and Brandon Lavo, and a double winner in Eric Theal.

Bingley won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:06.6 and the 500 free in 6:01.71.

Lavo captured the 200 individual medley in 2:22.98 and the 100 breaststroke, timing in at 1:16.42.

Theal took the 100 backstroke, clocking 1:16.42.

The trio finished the day by combining with Adam Gault to win the 400 free relay with a time of 4:05.7.

Placing second for Owego were James Morton in the 100 back and the 400 medley relay of Joe Criscitello, Gault, Kavo and Theal.

Finishing third for the Indians were Gault in the 200 IM and 100 free, Criscitello in the 100 butterfly, and the 200 free relay of Bingley, Criscitello, Jacob Krassin and Morton.

Owego hosts Johnson City Friday.
