COLLEGE CROWD: OWEGO GRAD BELL GOES 2-2 FOR BROCKPORT (2018-11-24)

ALLIANCE, Ohio - Jackson Bell, an Owego grad, went 2-2 at the Mt. Union Preseason Invitational here Nov. 10. A sophomore at The College at Brockport, he came up one win shy of a top six finish in the 165-pound class.

Following a first-round bye, Bell fell to Gavin Grime of Bellarmine, 7-5. He moved to the consolation bracket and posted a pair of 11-2 major decisions over Luke Ewing of Seton Hill and Michael Jacobs of Adrian. Bell's tournament ended with a 3-2 setback to Seton Hill's Jake Wilochell.

Brockport returns to action Friday and Dec. 1 at the New Standard Invitational in York, Pennsylvania.
