COLLEGE CROWD: OWEGO GRAD PHELPS WINS 3 EVENTS (2018-11-19)

GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior Mitchell Phelps, an Owego grad, collected a pair of individual victories and a relay win as the Knights defeated Nazareth, 166-126, here Saturday.

Phelps captured the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:57.62 and the 200 backstroke in 1:57.61. He swam the opening leg of the 200 medley relay, which Geneseo won with a time of 1:35.69. He also swam exhibition in the 100 fly, clocking there top time (52.19 seconds).

It was the fourth straight win for Geneseo, which is now 4-1.

The Knights return to action Nov. 30 through Dec. 2 at the Ithaca Winter Invitational.
