MORRISVILLE - Owego grad CJ Bergmann made his fourth appearance of the season Saturday as The College at Brockport closed out the regular season with a 49-7 Empire 8 victory over Morrisville State here.

The senior defensive back made one tackle, giving him six for the season.

The Golden Eagles finished 7-0 in the Empire 8 and 10-0 overall.

Ranked No. 3 nationally, Brockport received one of 26 automatic bids into the 32-team NCAA Division III playoffs and will host Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference champion Framingham State (8-2) at noon Saturday.
