STAC VOLLEYBALL: OWEGO DOWNS VESTAL, IMPROVES TO 11-1 (2018-10-16)

VESTAL - Owego improved to 11-1 on the season with  3-1 STAC victory against Vestal here Tuesday evening.

The Indians won the first two sets, 25-11 and 25-14. They would drop a close game in the third set, 25-23, but bounce back to end the match with a 25-19 win in game four.

Grace Thomas dished out 34 assists on the night and had a team-high 13 digs. She also had one kill and two aces. Kaylee Kelly set the pace in kills with 11 and added three digs. Ruby Coleman had eight kills, two blocks, an ace and a dig, and Evee Coleman had pitched in with 10 kills.

Mackenzie Struble contributed nine digs, three aces and a kill, and Annika Kinney had seven digs, a kill, an ace and an assist. Sara Zepkpwski joined in with five kills and a block, Taylor Auble had a kill and a dig, Bianca DaVita had five digs and an ace, Makenna Boehme had two digs and Haleigh Whatley had one kill.
