IAC VOLLEYBALL: S-VE DROPS FINAL HOME MATCH TO EDISON (2018-10-15)

SPENCER - Edison won its 10th match of the season, sweeping S-VE, 3-0, here Monday evening.

The Spartans won by scores of 25-18, 25-23 and 25-17.

Bella Willsey had 13 service points, to include seven aces, and six kills to pace Edison, which is now 10-5. Hailey Fierro had five kills and three blocks, Ryleigh Carson added 12 points, four of them aces, Jodie Burdick pitched in with nine digs, Reagan Seelye had eight digs, and Makenzie Lear and Mikayla Bush contributed seven assists apiece.

For the Panthers, Lindsey Greene had three kills, three aces and 18 digs, Sam Deppe had a kill, an assist and 7 digs, Tara Perkins added three kills and six digs, Lauren Chuisano chipped in with a kill and seven digs, and Lauren Slofkosky dished out seven assists and had one dig.

S-VE wraps up the regular season on the road with matches at Watkins Glen Wednesday and Newark Valley Friday.
