Tioga County Sports Report TIOGA COUNTY - Newark Valley is the only school which has teams playing at home on a light day of action.
The girls soccer team will host Odessa-Montour while the volleyball team will entertain unbeaten Candor.
Owego has four teams in action, all on the road.
BOYS GOLF
Owego (1-8) at Johnson City (0-9), 4 p.m.: The Indians won their previous meeting in late August by 12 strokes and posted their lowest team score of the season a week ago. Both of those matches were played at home; this time Owego is on the road. JC is looking for its first victory.
FIELD HOCKEY
Moravia (5-0) at Owego (4-3), 5 p.m.: Owego is coming off a win over SVEC and hoping to hand the Blue Devils their first setback of the season.
GIRLS SOCCER Odessa-Montour at Newark Valley (4-2), 4:30 p.m.: The Cardinals look to bounce back after a tough divisional loss to Waverly on Wednesday.
Owego (0-5) at Vestal (6-0), 7 p.m.: The Golden Bears have only given up two goals while scoring 29.
GIRLS TENNIS
Owego (4-4) at Johnson City, 4 p.m.: The Indians almost knocked off Norwich and will be looking to rebound against a team they dominated earlier, 6-1, losing just one match and that by forfeit.
VOLLEYBALL
Candor (8-0) at Newark Valley (4-2), 5 p.m. JV start: The Indians are on a roll and NV will have its hands full.
