There are six events on tap, only two of which are home games. They are SVEC hosting Deposit / Hancock in field hockey and Waverly in boys soccer. Field hockey will be played at S-VE and soccer will take place in Candor.
BOYS SOCCER
Newark Valley at Notre Dame, 4:30 p.m.: The Cardinals dropped a 1-0 thriller to ND at home on Aug. 30. NV gets a shot at redemption, but must do it in Crusader country.
Waverly at SVEC, 4:30 p.m.: SVEC dropped a hard-fought 3-2 battle to Newark Valley in its last game.
FIELD HOCKEY
Deposit / Hancock at SVEC (1-5), 4:30 p.m.: The Eagles are coming off their first victory, beating Tioga, 5-4, in an overtime duel Friday.
GIRLS SOCCER
Owego (0-3) at Johnson City (2-5-1), 5 p.m.: The Indians are looking for their first win.
SVEC (2-4) at Tioga (0-6), 5 p.m.: The Eagles played three games in three days last week, including a double-overtime victory. Tioga fell to Newfield, 9-3, Thursday.
GIRLS TENNIS
Owego (3-3) at Binghamton (1-4), 5 p.m. The Indians are coming off an impressive sweep of M-E while the Patriots fell to Vestal, 6-1.
