HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING: NEWARK VALLEY'S PRATT COMPETING IN NATIONALS (2019-06-20)

INDIANAPOLIS — Newark Valley senior Kyle Pratt will be competing in the 2019 U.S. High School Bowling National Championship here Saturday through Monday.

Pratt, the 2018-19 Boys Bowler of the Year on the Tioga County Sports Report All-Tioga County team, carried a 196 average with a high game of 279 and 706 high series, and was an IAC second-team all-star.

The Section IV champion, he also led the sectional team in the Composite tournament at the NYSPHSAA championships. Pratt placed 10th out of 66 competitors, rolling a six-game total of 1286 and a high game of 230.

The Cardinals won the IAC Large School title and took third at the IAC championships.
