CANDOR — Candor Minors Team Rose is off to a 4-0 start this season following two recent victories.

CANDOR 12, WATKINS GLEN 2
Team Rose rolled to a win Thursday behind strong pitching from Donnie Mackie and Cooper Dember, who threw two and four innings, respectively. Dember struck out four batters.

Dember was also 2-for-2 at the plate and Mackie went 3-for-3 with three RBI. Riley Bauer was 2-for-2 with two runs.

CANDOR 12, NEWARK VALLEY 7
Mason Rose pitched three scoreless innings, fanning seven in Tuesday’s victory.

The bats started slow, but came to life in the third inning. Owen Beach would finish 2-for-2 with three RBI. Cooper Dember and Kyle Jantz each went 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Candor hosts S-VE May 30 at 6 p.m.
