TIOGA CENTER — Candor standout Lance Jensen was a quadruple winner while S-VE’s Levi Mickelson captured top honors in three events at the IAC South Small School division meet here Tuesday.
Jensen took the 100 in 11.1 seconds, the 200 with a time of 22.9 seconds, the 110 hurdles in 15.3 seconds and the 400 hurdles in 58.5 seconds.
Mickelson won the 800 in 2:11.1 and the 1600 with a time of 4:45.9.
The Panthers had one other individual winner in Calum Avery, who clocked 10:44.8 to dominate the 3200.
Both teams won one relay as well.
S-VE’s quartet of Tyler Doster, Kenny Collister, Tyler Stahl and Ryan Hodges ran away with the 4x800 relay with a time of 9:43.6.
The Candor foursome of Jeb Parillo, Corey Whatley, Caleb Vaow and Christian Haynes captured the 4x400 relay in 3:46.9.
The meet was unscored.
Following are Candor’s and S-VE’s second- and third-place performers.
Ty Benners finished second in the 100 (11.7) and the 200 (24.7).
Nash Whitmore placed second in the long jump (16-6 3/4) and the high jump (5-6).
Joao Bessa was third in the 100 (11.9).
Haynes placed third in the 800 (2:15.6).
The 4x100 relay of Bessa, Benners, Whitmore and Haynes placed third (47.4).
Avery was the runner-up in the 1600 (4:56.5).
Luke Simonton took second in the discus (130-10 1/2), breaking his personal record.
James Wilkinson placed third in the shot put (36-1).
NOTE: Candor and S-VE used the event to make up a dual meet with the Panthers pulling out a 69-68 victory.
