COLLEGE TRACK & FIELD: CANDOR GRAD RUSSELL PLACES 2ND IN CSAC RELAY (2019-05-06)

LaPLUME, Pa. — Alfred State freshman Julia Russell ran a leg of the second-place 4x400 relay at the Colonial States Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships Sunday.

The Candor grad teamed with fellow freshman Katherine O'Buckley, junior Emily Brigman and sophomore Mikaylah Ruhl for a time of 4:36.038.

In her previous appearance at the Alfred State Invitational in mid-April, Russell placed sixth in the 800 with a  time of 2:38.11.

The Pioneers compete in the ECAC Track & Field Championships at Southern Connecticut State University May 15-16.
