YOUTH BASEBALL / SOFTBALL: OWEGO LITTLE LEAGUE KICKS OFF SEASON WITH OPENING CEREMONY (2019-04-28)

OWEGO — Owego Little League kicked off the 2019 season Saturday with festivities despite less than favorable weather.

Following  a parade, an opening ceremony was held, featuring several  “first pitches” before the games began.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature won out and afternoon games were canceled due to a snowstorm and the cold temperatures.
