YOUTH FOOTBALL: FIVE TIOGA COUNTY TEAMS REMAIN UNBEATEN (12 PHOTOS) (2018-09-08)
Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY - The combined Spencer-Van Etten / Candor teams remain
unbeaten on the season after all three won this past weekend in
Southern Tier Youth Football Conference action.
Each of the SVEC teams is 2-0 heading into Saturday's contest.
Also remaining unbeaten, and at 2-0, are the Newark Valley "A" team and the Owego "C" squad.
NV will face another unbeaten Sunday in Schuyler County, whose "C" team is also 2-0.
In
other games involving Tioga County teams, Owego took two of three
contests from Newark Valley, and Apalachin's "A" team was also a winner
while Tioga suffered a rare 0-for-3 day.
