TIOGA COUNTY — It’s going to be a light week for the most part with the exception of a busy Thursday slate. There are just nine events on the schedule, six of which will be contested Thursday.

Here’s a look at this week’s events.

MONDAY (1)
• Owego softball will play at Chenango Valley at 3 p.m.

TUESDAY (1)
• Owego boys lacrosse will host Horseheads at 7 p.m.

WEDNESDAY (1)
• Candor visits Newark Valley for a non-league baseball game.

THURSDAY (6)
• Newark Valley hosts Whitney Point in IAC non-league baseball and softball.

• The S-VE softball team hosts IAC Division 2 leader Edison.

• The Owego boys lacrosse team hosts Johnson City.

• Owego boys tennis hosts Horseheads.

• The Owego Baseball and softball teams head to Vestal.
