TIOGA COUNTY — It’s a light day on the local sports scene with just two events on the schedule.

The Newark Valley track & field teams will compete in the Square Deal Invitational at Johnson City starting at noon.

Newark Valley will also be in action on the softball diamond as the Cardinals visit Chenango Valley at 11 a.m.
