Tioga County Sports Report
TIOGA COUNTY — It will be a busy week with 44 events on the schedule. How many will actually be held depends on whether or not Mother Nature cooperates. Temperatures are expected to range from mid 40s to low 70s with the chance of rain and even a little snow in the forecast.

Following are some, but not all, of the events highlighting the week’s action (see a full schedule on the school pages).

MONDAY (12)
• S-VE will honor its track & field seniors before hosting Odessa-Montour and Notre Dame.

• Newark Valley will host Candor and Newfield in track & field.
 
• Greene visits Owego for a non-league baseball game.

• Owego entertains Chenango Forks in STAC softball.

• S-VE softball plays host to Moravia.

TUESDAY (7)
• Vestal visits Owego in boys tennis.

• S-VE hosts Moravia in softball.

WEDNESDAY (11)
• Watkins Glen visits Newark Valley in boys golf.

• Newark Valley hosts Dryden in babeball and softball.

• Owego entertains Corning in boys tennis.

• Dryden comes to Owego for girls lacrosse.

• S-VE hosts Waverly in girls golf.

• S-VE heads to Tioga for softball.

THURSDAY (5)
• The Owego boys lacrosse team visits Watkins Glen.

• Newark Valley heads to Moravia for tennis.

FRIDAY (10)
• Candor hosts Newfield in baseball and softball.

• Watkins Glen visits S-VEC for boys golf.

• Owego hosts Johnson City in baseball and softball.

SATURDAY (3)
• Newark Valley track & field competes in the Square Deal Invitational at Johnson City.
